CPC-CBT, an evidence-based therapy developed to address the needs of families at-risk for child physical abuse, developed by Dr. Runyon has been reviewed and included on the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) and the California Evidence-based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare (CEBC). NREPP gave the CPC-CBT training curriculum the highest possible score for readiness for dissemination.
